New Construction in Dallas, GA
On a new build the roof is a schedule item before it is a finished surface. Getting a house dried in on the day the framing is ready is worth more to a Dallas builder than anything we could say about shingles.
“They did very well with my old roof. The house looks new! Cristian and the crew went that extra mile on everything! I highly recommend them. They were very professional and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them or their work. It poured down rain this morning, and there were NO LEAKS. I love ❤️ IRoofer Contractors!”

Dry-in on schedule, every time
The roof sits between framing and everything that happens inside, so a roofer who slips a week costs the builder far more than the roof line item. We schedule against the framing inspection rather than against a hopeful date, dry in as soon as the deck is signed off, and keep the house closed to weather while the trades that follow us get on with it. On homeowner-led builds in Dallas the same principle applies, it just matters to a different person. We work directly with Paulding County's Building and Permitting Division, which sits on Constitution Boulevard here in town.
Specifying the roof properly at the start
New construction is the only moment when the ventilation, the underlayment and the shingle can be specified together as a system rather than compromised into an existing structure. Balanced intake and exhaust designed in from the framing stage costs almost nothing and determines how long the roof lasts. Installing as an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor means the manufacturer's specification is followed on nailing, exposure and ventilation, which is what makes the warranty real rather than nominal. We register it in the homeowner's name at completion.
Questions Dallas homeowners ask us
That is most of our new construction work. We schedule against the framing inspection and dry in as soon as the deck is signed off, because a roofer who slips the schedule costs a builder far more than the roof.
New construction is fully permitted through Paulding County's Building and Permitting Division, here in Dallas. On builder projects it is typically part of the overall building permit; we coordinate our inspections into it.
If you are the buyer, usually yes, and earlier is better. Colour and profile are far easier to change before material is ordered than after the first squares are on the roof.
It is designed in, not added on. New construction is the one chance to balance intake and exhaust properly from the framing stage, and it is what determines how long the roof actually lasts.
The Owens Corning manufacturer warranty, which depends on installing to their specification, plus our workmanship warranty. We register it in the homeowner's name at completion.
